Customer Focused. Purpose Driven. Strong Outlook.
Our purpose—enabling people, especially our customers, to go further, do more and come home safely—guides everything we do. We achieve that through an ambitious business strategy that targets long-term, continuous improvement along with imperatives for our business right now.
About 80 percent of our revenue comes from offshore flight services for oil-and-gas companies, with the remainder accounted for by search-and-rescue/emergency-medical flying as well as helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services—all of which offer tremendous growth potential. Our O&G customers comprise the world's largest energy companies, with which we have long-term contracts and relationships. SAR, EMS and MRO services are less sensitive to swings in industry pricing.
Helicopters are the preferred means of transport to offshore oil rigs and vessels—especially those in deepwater and ultra deepwater locations. There have been hundreds of deepwater discoveries of oil and natural gas reserves in the last several years, with worldwide spending for upstream services totaling about $1 billion—and increasing.
CHC's large, skilled and dedicated team; experience flying in a wide range of places and conditions; well-maintained fleet; and geographic reach position us exceptionally well to take advantage of the large and expanding opportunities in all of the areas where we do business.
