Janus Adds Financial Intermediary Sales Director in Texas

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Janus Capital Group Inc. (NYSE: JNS) has announced the addition of Riley Horlacher to its Advisor Solutions Group. As a vice president and sales director with Janus, Horlacher is responsible for working with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities in the financial intermediary sales channel. Horlacher, who is based in Dallas, covers the northern Texas region of the U.S. He reports to Eric Hargens, Divisional Vice President of the Advisor Solutions Group.

"With his extensive sales experience and a deep understanding of the financial intermediary space, I believe Riley will be an important addition to our team," said Hargens. "He has a proven track record of working with advisors to provide investment solutions in a wide range of market environments."

Horlacher comes to Janus from Highland Capital Management, where he was a director of distribution covering the western U.S. Prior to that, he covered the southwest and northwest regions of the U.S. as a director of distribution with Evergreen Investments. Horlacher also has held sales positions with New York Life Investment Management and ING Funds. He is fluent in Spanish and earned a bachelor's degree in planning and resource management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He also earned a Certified Investment Management Analyst CIMA(R) designation from the Wharton School.
