SNL Financial Makes 2008 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies
With 2007 revenues of more than $66 million, SNL is the largest Charlottesville-based company on the list.
Charlottesville, Va. (August 20, 2008) – Inc. Magazine today released its list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the United States, and SNL Financial was one of four Charlottesville-based companies to make the list, and the largest, with 2007 revenues of $66.6 million, an increase of 106 percent over three years.
SNL ranked number 3,213 on the list, which is based upon the 3-year revenue growth rate through 2007. Within the state of Virginia, there were 27 privately-held, high-growth companies on the list with revenues of $50 million or more, and SNL ranked 17th in this group.
