SNL Financial Acquires New Office Building in India
Rapid growth of India professional staff demands larger space
Charlottesville, VA -- SNL Financial, the premier provider of multi-sector-focused news, data and analysis in the financial information marketplace, has announced the purchase of a newly-constructed, 32,000-sq. ft. office building in Ahmedabad, India. This space will serve as the new headquarters for SNL Financial (India) Pvt. Ltd. (“SNL India”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SNL Financial LC.Since beginning operations in India in 2003, SNL’s Ahmedabad staff has already occupied two separate offices, rapidly expanding to its current count of 150 employees. SNL India provides support to 11 different SNL departments in the U.S., including industry accounting, news, research, marketing, customer service and product development. The new facility has room to accommodate up to 375 employees in any single work shift.

SNL India expects to have all staff moved into the new building by August.
SNL has two other locations outside the United States. A rapidly growing office in Islamabad, Pakistan, currently with 50 employees, provides professional support services similar to those provided by the Ahmedabad office. And SNL’s London office provides sales and support of SNL products to the Western European investment community.
