| Sandra (Sandy) L. Pierce Vice Chairman, FirstMerit Corporation Chairman and CEO, FirstMerit Michigan Sandy Pierce was appointed to Vice Chairman of FirstMerit Corporation and Chairman and CEO of FirstMerit Michigan in 2013. Prior to joining us, Sandy had been Midwest Regional Executive, President and CEO for Charter One Bank, Michigan, a division of RBS Citizens, N.A. where she had responsibilities for commercial banking and all state bank activities in Michigan as well as oversight of all state activities in Illinois and Ohio.
Sandy received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing and her MBA in Business Administration/Finance from Wayne State University. She is a board member of Barton Barlow Enterprises and Penske Automotive Group. Sandy also serves as chair of the Detroit Financial Advisory Board and chair of the Henry Ford Health System. |
| Terrence E. Bichsel Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Terry Bichsel is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FirstMerit Corporation. He came to us in September, 1999 from Banc One Corporation where he was the Vice President of Finance and Performance Management. He previously held high level finance positions in Bank One Services Corporation, Bank One Wisconsin, Corp and Bank One, Dayton. He has over 30 years experience in financial management, systems, budgeting, risk management, investments, cost accounting and financial forecast modeling.
Bichsel holds both a B.S. and an MBA degree from the University of Dayton.

| N. James Brocklehurst Executive Vice President, Retail Banking Jim Brocklehurst was appointed Executive Vice President, Retail Banking in July of 2010. Jim came to us in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Retail Sales Manager in July of 2006, joining us from JPMorganChase where he served as Senior Vice President, Retail Market Manager since 2003.
Jim began his banking career in 1989 in Branch Management in Indianapolis, IN. From 1995 to 1997, he assumed the position of Assistant Vice President, Retail District Manager. From 1997 to 1998 he was Vice President, National Sales Development Manager in Columbus, from 1998 to 2002 Vice President, Retail Investment Market Manager in Indianapolis, and from 2002 to 2003 was promoted to Senior Vice President, Retail Market Manager in Cleveland.
In 1987, Jim received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and for two years attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He is a member of Indiana Pacer Foundation - "Read to Achieve", a 2003 Board member of Cleveland Junior Achievement, and a member of Wayne Township "Business Partners in Education"

| Nicholas V. Browning President & CEO - Akron Region Nick joined FirstMerit’s Akron Region as an AVP of Commercial Loans in March 1992 and was promoted to Vice President in December 1992. Nick became Team Leader in 1995 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999. In December of 2002, he was promoted to Senior Lender and Manager of Corporate Banking for the Akron Region, and in November, 2003 he was promoted to President/CEO of the Akron Region. Prior to FirstMerit, Nick was with Ameritrust as a Commercial Lender.
Nick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and earned his MBA from Kent State University.
Nick serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for United Disability Services, board member of the Rotary Club of Akron, board member of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, board member of Summa Hospital, and board member of Greenleaf Family Center.

| Timothy M. Burke President & CEO - Central Region Tim Burke is President and CEO of the Central Region for FirstMerit Bank.
Tim joined FirstMerit in 2009, coming from National City Corporation where he was Managing Director and Senior Vice President for Corporate Banking.
Tim received his MBA from Case Western Reserve University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from John Carroll University. Prior to relocating to West Palm Beach, Fla, in 2007, Burke resided in Medina, Ohio, for five years and was very involved in the local community, having served on the Board of the Medina County Economic Development Corporation, the Advisory Board of the Medina Community Recreation Center, and the Stewardship Committee for St. Francix Xavier Church. Burke has relocated to Medina, Ohio, with his wife and three children.

| Mark N. DuHamel Executive Vice President & Treasurer Mark is Executive Vice President of Treasury for FirstMerit Corporation. He directs investment portfolio strategy and execution, manages wholesale funding activities and oversees the bank's asset liability management function. He manages the corporation's investor relations function and he is the corporate development officer overseeing merger and acquisition activity.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and his MBA in Finance from Michigan State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Cleveland CFA Society.

| Peter K. Gillespie President & CEO - Chicago Region Pete Gillespie joined FirstMerit in February 2010 as President and CEO of the Chicago Region. Previously, Pete was Chicago Region President for First Bank. Prior to joining First Bank in March, 2008, he held various positions at Chase Bank and predecessors during a 25 year career.
Pete began his banking career at NBD in Michigan, transferring to Chicago in 1990. During his 20 years in Chicago he has been involved in all aspects of banking middle market companies.
Pete graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in accounting before starting his business career with Arthur Andersen & Co. He received his MBA from Michigan State University and began his career in banking. He was formerly Chairman and currently serves on the Business Advisor Council for the University of Illinois- Chicago. He has also been active on the boards of JDRF and Casa Central during prior board memberships.

| David G. Goodall Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Banking Officer David was named leader of Commercial Banking in November 2009. He joined FirstMerit in March 2009 as Executive Vice President and Head of Specialized Banking. David came to us from National City Business Credit, Inc., a subsidiary of National City Bank, where he was President and CEO.
He received his MBA from New York University and has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth and serves as a board member and 2nd Vice Chairman of the Cleveland Music School Settlement. Goodall resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio. |
| Christopher J. Maurer Executive Vice President, Human Resources Chris Maurer is Executive Vice President, Human Resources of FirstMerit Corpora-tion. He joined First National Bank of Ohio in June 1992 as Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources. In November 1993, Maurer was named Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources of FirstMerit Corporation. Prior to his joining First National, he was employed by Diebold Incorporated where he spent 21 years holding various management positions in Human Resources.
Maurer has been President of the Stark County Human Resources Association, past State Chairman of the Ohio Job Services employers' Committee (JSEC) and past Chairman of the Job Training Partnership for SDA #23. He also has been very active on the Advisory Board of Kent State University - Stark Campus, has been Chairman of the President's Advisory Council at Stark Technical College, and has held the position of First Vice President of the Board of Trustees for United Way Central Stark County. He was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Akron City Club where he has served as President. He is a 1994 Leadership Akron graduate. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stark State College of Technology and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Board of Trustees to the Akron area YMCA where he is serving a second term as Chairman. Maurer graduated from the University of Akron with a BS degree in Education and has completed 50% of an Executive MBA degree at Kent State University. He also completed the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Advanced Human Resources Management.

Prior to that, he held significant positions at such organizations as Charter One, Union Center Insurance and Investments, US Bancorp and Citibank.

He serves on the board of trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, Wis., is a member of the advisory board for the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and is active in the United Way. |
| Sean P. Richardson President & CEO – North Coast Region Sean Richardson is North Coast Regional Commercial Banking Executive for FirstMerit. Sean came to us in 2009 from National City Corporation where he was Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Corporate Banking Middle Market Northcoast – East Team.
Sean earned his MBA at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the board of trustees at the Cleveland Foodbank, is co-chair of the 2009-2010 Eastern Market Team at the United Way of Greater Cleveland and has served as chairman of the American Heart Association’s Start! Heart Walk. He resides in Shaker Heights with his wife and three children.

| William P. Richgels Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer William P. Richgels joined FirstMerit as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer on May 1, 2007. He came to us from JP Morgan Chase, Chicago IL where he held the position of Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Executive since 2004.
Bill began his banking career in 1981 at Norwest Bank – St. Paul where he held the titles of Trust Officer and Commercial Banking Officer. From 1984 to 1987 he was Vice President of Corporate Banking at Continental Illinois National Bank – Chicago; from 1987 to 1989, Senior Vice President/Manager of Corporate Banking - Continental Bank of Buffalo Grove; from 1989 to 1990, Manager of Corporate Banking Group at First Midwest Bank; from 1990 to 1992 Executive Vice President/Senior Lending Officer of First National Bank of Elgin; from 1992 to 1996 held positions as First Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of NDB Illinois, NA, Chicago; from 1996 to 2004 Senior Vice President, Bank One/First Chicago NBD Corp. Bill’s experiences and successes in lending include asset-based, commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, floor plan, private banking, distressed debt and mezzanine.
Mr. Richgels received a Juris Doctorate in May of 1978 from William Mitchell College of Law; he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, History in 1973 from College of St. Thomas, and graduated from the Officer Candidate School of U.S. Marine Corps. Among others, his community involvement includes Board of Directors - Midwest Associate of Secured Lenders, Board of Directors – Elgin YMCA, and Board of Directors - Robert Morris Associates.

Judith A. Steiner joined FirstMerit in 1990. She is Executive Vice President, General
Counsel, Secretary and Chief Risk Officer of FirstMerit Corporation. Prior to her current
position, Judy was manager of the Legal and Compliance Departments and was AML/
BSA Officer of the Corporation. Her responsibilities include oversight of the Legal,
Compliance, AML/BSA, CRA, Security, Insurance and Enterprise Risk Management
functions. Prior to joining FirstMerit, Judy was an Associate with Brouse McDowell,
Akron, Ohio.
Judy is a member of the Board of Trustees of Archbishop Hoban High School and
The Humane Society of Greater Akron. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve
University School of Law, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and holds a Bachelor

| Sue E. Zazon President & CEO - Columbus Region Sue E. Zazon is the Regional CEO of the Columbus Region for FirstMerit Bank.
She joined FirstMerit in November, 2006 and is responsible for growing the client base in Retail Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Banking and the Private Client Group.
Prior to joining FirstMerit in 2006, Sue held a number of positions at KeyBank in Central Ohio. In 2001, she was promoted to President of the Central Ohio District and was responsible for revenue growth and operations for all lines of business. Also during her career at Key, Sue held a number of positions in the commercial banking area. She joined the Commercial Banking Division in 1993 as assistant vice president and relationship manager. In 1994, she was appointed vice president of Corporate Banking in Columbus and was promoted to Senior Vice President and sales manager in 1999.
Sue began her career in banking after graduating from Miami University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and international business. She is a graduate of the executive management program at Case Western Reserve University.
Active in the community, Sue is a member of the board of trustees for Experience Columbus and the incoming President for the YMCA. She is past chair of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges and Law Enforcement Foundation annual campaigns. She is also a past member of the United Way campaign cabinet and Columbus children’s Theatre board of trustees. In 2002, Sue was a recipient of the business First “Forty under 40” award which recognizes career achievements and community involvement.

| Julie C. Tutkovics Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Julie Tutkovics was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, in November 2010. Julie is responsible for corporate Line of Business marketing across the company, driving FirstMerit’s branding initiatives, overseeing product development, heading up marketing research and working closely with line of business heads to develop marketing and advertising strategies.
Prior to joining FirstMerit, Julie served as First Vice President, Director of Product Development at New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (formerly AmTrust Bank). Before that, she served in a variety of marketing roles at Citizens Financial Group/Charter One Bank, Citizens Bank, Fidelity Investments and KeyCorp.
Julie earned her undergraduate degree in International Business/Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a board member and vice president of the Executive Committee of Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and a board member of the American Endowment Foundation. She is an active member of the Junior League of Cleveland and serves on the board of deacons for The Federated Church. Julie resides in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. |
