Somerset Hills Bancorp is a bank holding company formed in January 2001 to own all of the common stock of Somerset Hills Bank (the Bank), a New Jersey chartered full-service commercial bank that opened for business in Bernardsville, Somerset County, New Jersey, in December 1998. It operates branches in Bernardsville, Mendham, Morristown, Summit , Madison and Long Valley New Jersey. The only activity of Somerset Hills Bancorp is the ownership of Somerset Hills Bank. The Bank focuses its lending activities on small to medium sized businesses, high net worth individuals, professional practices, and consumer and retail customers living and working in the Bank's primary market area. The Bank operates a licensed mortgage company subsidiary, Sullivan Financial Services, Inc. It also operates a Wealth Management subsidiary, Somerset Hills Wealth Management Services, LLC, to provide financial services including financial planning, life and health insurance, mutual funds and annuities. And, with its partner, Property Title Group, Somerset Hills Title Group LLC, provides title services in connection with the closing of real estate transactions. The Bank's primary market area is comprised of Somerset, Morris and Union Counties, New Jersey, and to a lesser extent, adjoining counties. At December 31, 2006, the Bank had total assets of $289 million, total deposits of $250 million and stockholders' equity of approximately $37.8 million.
