Prudential Savings Bank is a Pennsylvania chartered savings bank originally organized in 1886 as a Pennsylvania chartered mutual building and loan association. We were originally known as "The South Philadelphia Building and Loan Association No. 2". We converted to a mutual savings bank in August 2004,and then to a wholly owned stock subsidiary of Prudential Bancorp Inc. of Pennsylvania in March 2005.Our headquarters and main office are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and we have six additional full service branch offices, five of which are in Philadelphia and one located in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Our newest branch location opened in August 2007 at 28 N. 3rd Street in the "Old City" section of Philadelphia. Our business primarily consists of attracting deposits from the general public and using those funds to originate loans and invest in securities.
