  • Washington Trust Announces Dividend Increase

    WESTERLY, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006--The Board of Directors of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ: National Market; symbol: WASH), today declared a quarterly dividend increase to 19 cents per share for the quarter ending March 31, 2006. The dividend is payable April 14, 2006 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2006. This represents the fourteenth consecutive year with a dividend increase.
