  • NYSSA Presents 5th Annual Banking Industry Conference
    Company Release - 10/12/2005 10:00

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2005--The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) will present the 5th Annual Banking Industry Conference on November 10, 2005.

How will banks end 2005 following their recent run of good fortune? A current lack of revenue growth indicates that the industry is facing challenges in sustaining its high performance levels. Further, there are continued concerns about a decrease in demand for mortgage-related products due to higher interest rates and an unsustainable real estate market.

Find out what lies ahead for the banking industry, and where the investing opportunities can be found. This conference will provide a forum to meet CEOs, CFOs, and other VIPs from the banking industry and hear them discuss the specific obstacles and opportunities facing their institutions and their industry.

The following companies are presenting: The Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: TBBK); BankAtlantic Bancorp (NYSE: BBX); F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB); Unity Bank (Nasdaq: UNTY); U.S.B. Holding Co., Inc. (NYSE: UBH); Wainwright Bank & Trust Company (Nasdaq: WAIN); and Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: WASH).
