Heads Bank’s New Group Insurance Trust Division

Washington Trust today announced
that Ann M. Nagle, of North Kingstown, R.I., has been
appointed Vice President, Trust Officer of the Wealth Management area’s
new Group Insurance Trust Division. Nagle will provide trustee services
for all types of group insurance trusts, including multiple employer
trusts, association trusts, and annuity trusts. She will be responsible
for the development and management of the Division, including new
business, trust administration, strategic planning, as well as
development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Nagle has more than 35 years of fiduciary and insurance experience and
has administered more than 400 group insurance trusts during her career.
Nagle joins Washington Trust from BankNewport in Middletown, R.I., where
she served as vice president and manager, group insurance trusts. Prior
experience includes positions at Rhode Island Hospital Trust National
Bank and Citizens Bank.
Nagle is a member of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association
and the Life and Health Compliance Association. She was company co-chair
of the United Way of Rhode Island, and served on the Memory Walk
Committee for the Alzheimer’s Association of Rhode Island. Nagle is a
graduate of Bryant University with a bachelor of science in business
