At SNL, we stand behind our information. Defining Our Promise

Timeliness

SNL guarantees public company financial information, including data from 10-Ks, 10-Qs and earnings releases, is available in the products within five days.

Our teams generally turn around financial information within eight hours for earnings releases and within 24 hours for 10-Qs and10-Ks. As SNL continues to evolve and improve its operations, we are constantly striving to compress our turnaround times.

SNL prioritizes the largest and most newsworthy companies to the top of our workflow, turning around the largest 20% of the companies even more quickly. We strongly encourage clients to inform our support teams of any specific companies they wish to receive high-priority attention.

Accuracy

SNL guarantees every financial item in its database, including ratios provided by the companies we cover. We standardize many financial fields to conform to accepted industry calculations, so our ratio calculations may differ from those reported by a particular company. Please utilize our source tagging and audit trail feature or consult our support teams for clarification.

SNL also rewards its clients for identifying meaningful news errors. Typos and minor editorial issues within news content and other textual content**** are evaluated individually for reward eligibility. While SNL makes every attempt to avoid typos in published material, we balance this consideration with the desire to get major news in front of clients as quickly as possible. Editorial errors that change the meaning of a story and production errors (improper linking, failure to send a newsletter, improper indexing, etc.) are generally deemed award eligible.

Completeness

SNL guarantees that all publicly available information will be included in our products. SNL will reward clients for identifying publicly available information that we have not obtained ourselves within the timeliness parameters outlined above. Note: Non-public information does not qualify.

Important Notes

Errors or omissions previously identified by our users that are in the process of being corrected by our teams may not be award-eligible; these will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Corrections that cannot be made immediately but that materially inconvenience our users may, at management's discretion, be deemed award-eligible.

When multiple errors are reported, an independence test will be used to determine whether multiple awards should be granted. For example, if one mistake resulted in more than one error or impacted a large number of companies, periods, or fields (such as an incorrect calculation), the user will be eligible for one award. However, if each error is independent of the rest, the user will be eligible for multiple awards.
