Guarantee Insurance Co. said Nov. 6 that it appointed John Harris to its leadership team as director of underwriting.

As director of underwriting, Harris will be responsible for heading the company's alternative market and traditional workers' compensation underwriting departments.

Prior to the appointment, Harris served as vice president of underwriting at Tower Insurance Group.

Guarantee Insurance is a unit of Patriot Risk Management Inc.
