W.R. Berkley elects COO

W.R. Berkley Corp. said Nov. 3 that it elected W. Robert Berkley Jr. president and COO, effective immediately. In his new role, Berkley will manage all the company's operating units, adding oversight of the company's reinsurance and international segments to his current responsibilities. Berkley joined the company in 1997 and has served as its executive vice president since August 2005. He has been on the company's board since 2001. |
