BMO Capital Markets names US financial sponsors group head

BMO Financial Group's investment and corporate banking arm, BMO Capital Markets, named Dirk Leasure head of its financial sponsors group, according to a Nov. 3 news release. Based in New York, he will lead a team of investment bankers based in New York and Chicago who specialize in helping U.S. private equity firms. Leasure joined BMO Capital Markets in 2002, the release said. Also, as the markets continue to recover, BMO anticipates a "substantial" increase in private equity activity into 2010 and beyond. |
