A.M. Best affirms Sompo Japan US Group, members

A.M. Best on Nov. 3 affirmed the A+ financial strength ratings and "aa-" issuer credit ratings of Sompo Japan U.S. Group and its members with a stable outlook. The group comprises Sompo Japan Insurance Co. of America and its unit Sompo Japan Fire and Marine Insurance Co. of America. The ratings take into account Sompo Japan U.S. Group's excellent capitalization, continued parental support and improved operating results. Sompo Japan Insurance and Sompo Japan Fire are units of Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. |
