MBT Bancorp unit Merchants Bank & Trust Co. based in West Harrison, Ind., has named Paul Silva president, the Business Courier of Cincinnati reported Nov. 3, citing the company.

Silva takes over the role from Donald Patterson, who will remain CEO of the unit, the Business Courier said. Before his promotion, Silva served as chief lending officer at Merchants Bank.
