Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network said Nov. 3 that it entered into a direct-to-vehicle deal with Mazda.

Mazda joins other automotive original equipment manufacturers including BMW, MINI and Volvo in offering the service.

Additionally, the company said it launched the first HD Radio-based device for vehicles from Korean software company Cydle, which will allow customers to receive traffic updates faster than other broadcast and satellite services.

Clear Channel Radio is a division of CC Media Holdings Inc.'s Clear Channel Communications Inc.
