Officials of the Canadian Finance Ministry and the country's banks are still in discussions over the matter of stopping banks from advertising insurance products via their Web sites, Bloomberg News reported Nov. 2.

Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Nova Scotia and BMO Financial Group, among others, have agreed to comply with the new rule, according to the news outlet.
