Two of Camden's values form the basis of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics: Act with Integrity and Always do the Right Thing.
Reporting Concerns
Taking action to prevent inappropriate conduct is part of Camden’s culture. Camden provides a simple, anonymous way for employees and individuals to confidentially report activities that may involve improper conduct related to financial activities or violations of Camden’s financial-related policies. Our goal is to provide an easy reporting method so these issues can be quickly identified and corrected. We encourage you to use the hotline to share concerns about potentially improper conduct in the following areas: 1) accounting and auditing matters, such as misstatement of revenues or expenses; 2) falsification of contracts, reports or records; 3) improper supplier or contract activity, such as contractor selection based on personal gain; 4) securities violations, such as insider trading; and 5) theft.
Issues can be reported anonymously by telephone or by website, and our hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Camden considers all concerns regarding accounting and auditing ethics very important. Your input is essential to ensuring that Camden continues to maintain the highest ethical standards. To share a concern via Camden’s confidential hotline, please use our toll-free telephone number 1-800-963-5834, or visit www.ethicspoint.com. If you prefer to submit a concern in writing, please direct your correspondence to the Chairman of the Audit Committee, c/o Camden Property Trust, 3 Greenway Plaza, Suite 1300, Houston, Texas 77046.
