Board of Directors

John P. Meegan
John P. Meegan is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hefren-Tillotson, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based investment management firm. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson he held various senior level positions with both regional and national brokerage firms. Mr. Meegan previously served as a director of Prestige Bank, which was acquired by Northwest Savings Bank in 2002. He has served on Northwest Savings Bank's Southwest Region Advisory Board since that time, and in October 2009 he was elected to the Northwest Savings Bank Board of Directors. Mr. Meegan is a certified public accountant, having worked for KPMG LLP in New York City, holds a degree in Economics from Amherst College and an MBA from New York University. He also serves as Chairman of the Financial Responsibility and Uniform Practices Committees for FINRA. Mr. Meegan's extensive knowledge of investment management matters will enhance the oversight of our trust and investment activities, and his work with FINRA will broaden the Board of Director's knowledge of the capital markets.
Sonia M. Probst
Sonia M. Probst is the retired Chief Executive Officer of the Rouse Estate in Youngsville Pennsylvania, where she was employed for 28 years. The Rouse Estate is a campus of skilled nursing, assisted living and child day care facilities serving western Pennsylvania. In this highly regulated healthcare environment, she served as Compliance Officer and developed and oversaw the Compliance Program. In addition, she was responsible for: strategic planning; development; revenue growth; compensation and benefit structures; financial and regulatory audits; and investment management of pension, 403(b) and depreciation funds. Ms. Probst earned a BA from Lebanon Valley College and an MSW from West Virginia University. She has served as a Director of Northwest Savings Bank since May 2010. She also serves on the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry Board of Directors and the Steering Committee for “Leadership Warren County”. Ms. Probst brings to the Board firsthand experience in managing compliance, finance and operations in a diverse, highly regulated, multiple service organization.
Deborah J. Chadsey
Deborah J. Chadsey is an attorney who has practiced law for 27 years. She is currently a partner in the Buffalo, New York law firm Kavinoky Cook LLP. Prior to joining Kavinoky Cook LLP, Ms. Chadsey practiced law with Lippes, Silverstein and Phillips, Lytle, both also in Buffalo, New York. She has been on the Northwest Savings Bank Board of Directors since December 2011. In addition, she sits on the Board of Directors of Kensington-Bailey Neighborhood Housing Services/Gloria Parks Community Center. Ms. Chadsey graduated from Columbia University Law School in New York, New York where she was a Harlen Fiske Stone Scholar and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, and multiple federal district, bankruptcy and appellate courts. Ms. Chadsey brings to the Board specialization and experience in environmental and municipal law as well as commercial finance, land use and contract law.
Timothy B. Fannin
Timothy B. Fannin is a retired partner in the firm Catalano, Case, Catalano & Clark-Radzieta, LLP, Certified Public Accountants headquartered in Clearfield, Pennsylvania where he worked 28 years. Mr. Fannin is a U.S. Army Veteran and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Business/Public Administration and holds a MBA from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is Certified in Financial Forensics. In addition, he was an adjunct Professor of Accounting and Finance at Pennsylvania State University from 2007 to 2009. He has been an Advisory Board Member of Northwest Savings Bank since 1998. Mr. Fannin’s public accounting background and professional designations will assist the Board in its oversight of the audit, tax, financial reporting and risk management areas.
William F. McKnight
William F. McKnight has been the controller for Interstate Chemical Company, Inc. in Hermitage, Pennsylvania since 2006. Prior to joining Interstate Chemical Company, Inc. he was a partner with the CPA firm McGill, Power, Bell & Associates for 30 years where he specialized in tax planning and advising. Mr. McKnight holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has been a member of Northwest Savings Bank’s Meadville Advisory Board since September 2002. Mr. McKnight’s industry experience and background in tax and public accounting will assist the Board in its oversight of the audit, tax, financial reporting and risk management areas.
Timothy M. Hunter
Timothy M. Hunter has been President and Chief Executive Officer of McInnes Rolled Rings and Erie Bronze & Aluminum Company, both in Erie, Pennsylvania, since 2003. He also currently serves as Chairman of Manufacturer and Business Association of Erie, Pennsylvania, and also serves on the Boards of the Erie Regional Chamber of Growth Partnership and the Erie Community Foundation. Mr. Hunter is a Certified Public Accountant having worked for Ernst & Young in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University. He has been an Advisory Board Member of Northwest Bank since 2013. Mr. Hunter has significant operations, finance and management experience in middle market manufacturing businesses combined with extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and reporting. He brings this background coupled with his considerable business and community involvement to the Board.
Robert M. Campana
Robert M. Campana is the president of Campana Capital, a real estate development and private equity investment organization located in Westlake, OH. He is the former president of P. C. Campana, Inc., Lorain OH and former managing director of Camp-Hill Corporation, McKeesport, PA and Bellville Tube, Houston, TX. Mr. Campana previously served as a Director of LNB Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary Lorain National Bank which were acquired by Northwest on August 14, 2015. Mr. Campana holds a business degree from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Campana brings his extensive business experience and intimate knowledge of the Lorain County and the west Cleveland suburbs to the Northwest Board.
Mark A. Paup
Mark A. Paup is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Zippo Manufacturing Company and W. R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company, both of which are headquartered in Bradford, Pennsylvania. During his twenty plus year career with Zippo and Case, Mr. Paup has served as National Sales Manager, European Sales Manager and Global Marketing Director. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Zippo, as President of the Supervisory Board of Zippo Europe S.A. and as a Director of Zippo Asia Ltd. During his tenure at both Zippo and Case, Mr. Paup has been instrumental in corporate strategic planning, product diversification and the development of the sales and marketing departments. He has been a member of Northwest Bank’s McKean County Advisory Board since 2010. Mr. Paup’s extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and strategic planning will greatly assist the Board in its oversight of Northwest Bank’s organic growth initiatives and strategic direction.
Ronald J. Seiffert
Ronald J. Seiffert joined Northwest in November 2017 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. He was promoted to the position of President and CEO of Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. in June of 2018, appointed to the Board of Directors of Northwest Bank on January 17, 2018 and elected to the Board of Directors of Northwest Bancshares, Inc. on April 19, 2018. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Seiffert held the position of Chairman, President & CEO at the Delaware County Bank & Trust, Lewis Centre, OH. Prior to that, he served as Vice Chairman at Huntington National Bank, and Executive Vice President and National Head of Business Banking at BankOne/JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Seiffert has been engaged in many industry and community boards, including the Pennsylvania Bankers’ Association Government Relations Committee, the Federal Reserve Board Fourth District Depository Institution Advisory Committee (CDIAC), the Ohio Banker’s League Bank Services Board and Audit Committee and the Columbus State Community College Foundation Board. Mr. Seiffert graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance & Economics and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Management program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Seiffert has deep and extensive knowledge of commercial banking, retail services, private banking and delivery channels, making him well qualified to be our President, Chief Executive Officer and member of both Northwest Boards.

Ronald J. Seiffert joined Northwest in November 2017 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. He was promoted to the position of President and CEO of Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. in June of 2018, appointed to the Board of Directors of Northwest Bank on January 17, 2018 and elected to the Board of Directors of Northwest Bancshares, Inc. on April 19, 2018. William W. Harvey Jr.
Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
William W. Harvey, Jr. has been employed by Northwest Bank since 1996 and currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. He was formerly Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Harvey served as a senior auditor and tax specialist for KPMG LLP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Harvey is a certified public accountant and holds a BS degree in accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
John J. Golding
Senior Executive Vice President, Consumer and Small Business Banking
John J. Golding has been employed by Northwest Bank since September 2016, most recently as Executive Vice President, Consumer and Small Business Banking and prior to that Executive Vice President, Business Development. He was formerly our New York Region President following our acquisition of 18 branches of First Niagara in the Buffalo, NY area. Mr. Golding has 21 years’ experience in consumer, commercial and mortgage banking, and retail bank management and administration, and served as senior vice president, director of small business banking at First Niagara. Mr. Golding is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business management and business administration.
Richard K. Laws
Executive Vice President, Chief Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Richard K. Laws has been employed by Northwest Bank since March 2013, and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Northwest Bank and Northwest Bancshares, Inc. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Laws served as Senior Counsel at ING Bank, fsb (“ING Direct”) in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Laws holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Juniata College and a J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law.
Julia W. McTavish
Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
Julia W. McTavish has been employed by Northwest Bank since 1983, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She was formerly Senior Vice President of Human Resources of Northwest Bank. Mrs. McTavish holds a BS degree in economics from Allegheny College.
Mark T. Reitzes
Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Commercial Banking
Mark T. Reitzes has been employed by Northwest Bank since August 2019, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Banking. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Reitzes served as Commercial Banking Division Head and subsequently, Regional President, for Huntington National Bank’s Southern Ohio/Kentucky Region. Mr. Reitzes also served as President and CEO of Cheviot Savings Bank, a community bank in Cincinnati. Mr. Reitzes is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Executive Leadership program. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Shawn O. Walker
Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Shawn O. Walker has been employed by Northwest Bank since December 2008 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Northwest Bank, overseeing marketing, deposit products and treasury management. He was formerly Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Walker holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He’s a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Advanced School of Banking, the American Bankers Association (ABA) School of Marketing Management and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Walker also earned the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the ABA’s Institute of Certified Bankers.
Scott J. Watson
Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Scott Watson has been employed by Northwest Bank since February 2019, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Scott has an extensive and deep 29-year career in bank information technology and operations serving as Executive Director of Bank Infrastructure at USAA and, most recently, as CIO of Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.
Louis J. Torchio
Senior Executive Vice President, Retail Lending
Louis J. Torchio has been employed by Northwest Bank since January 2018, as Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Lending. Mr. Torchio has over 30 years of banking experience within both large and community bank environments. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Residential and Consumer Lending at a community bank located in central, Ohio. Mr. Torchio holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree from Fairmont State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Franklin University.
Ronald B. Andzelik
Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer
Ronald B. Andzelik has been employed by Northwest Bank since September 1986 and has served in numerous capacities within community banking, mortgage retail lending regulatory compliance, fair lending, and community reinvestment. Mr. Andzelik was the Bank’s former Chief Compliance Officer from 2000 to 2019. In 2020, Mr. Andzelik was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Mr. Andzelik holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Gannon University. Mr. Andzelik has attained ABA certifications CRCM in regulatory compliance, CERP in risk management and CAMS in BSA/AML
Thomas K. Creal IV
Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Thomas K. Creal has been employed by Northwest Bank since April 2012 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer. Prior to joining Northwest, he served as Director of Asset Management for De Lage Landen, FS and held various commercial lending positions at General Electric Capital in Manhattan and Siemens Financial Services. Mr. Creal graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
