John M. Hairston
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hairston is President of the Company and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the Bank. He has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2008 and as President of the Company since 2014. He also served as Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2014, Chief Operations Officer from 1994 to 2006 and as Executive Vice President of the Company and Banks from 1994 to 2006.

Mr. Hairston serves on the Board of Directors and Board Audit Committee of the American Bankers Association. He is past Chairman of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, the Mississippi Information Technology Services Board of Directors, and Mississippi State University College of Business Advisory Board. He currently serves on the Board of the Mississippi State University Research & Technology Corporation, the Gulf Coast Business Council Board of Directors, and is a member of the faculty of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
Michael M. Achary
Chief Financial Officer
Michael M. Achary joined Hancock in summer 2000. Previously, he served as senior vice president at New Orleans based First Commerce Corporation and as Chief Financial Officer for a New Orleans law firm.

A Certified Public Accountant, Achary received both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of New Orleans. Achary is also a graduate of the prestigious Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

Mr. Estabrook currently serves as Chairman of the Board since 2009 and Director of the Hancock Holding Company since 1995. Mr. Estabrook's principal occupation has been as President of Estabrook Motor Co., Inc. since 1967. Mr. Estabrook also serves as the President of Estabrook Automotive, Inc. (Automobile Dealerships); President of Auto Credit, Inc. (Auto Finance Business); President of Estabrook Properties, LP (Real Estate Business); President of Falcon Leasing and Rental, Inc., (Daily Rental Automobile Business) President of Gulf Coast Financial Corp., Inc. of Pascagoula, Mississippi and President of Conundrum, Inc., an investment company.
Frank E. Bertucci

Frank E. Bertucci has been employed with F.E.B. Distributing Co., Inc., a regional beverage wholesaler, since 1978 and has served as its President since 1990. Since 2001, Mr. Bertucci has served as Chief Executive Officer of Capital City Beverage. Mr. Bertucci has been an Advisory Director of Hancock Bank since 1995.

Mr. Bertucci is a director of the Mississippi Malt Beverage Association in Jackson, Mississippi and a director of Fullhouse Venture Company L.P. of Gulfport, Mississippi, a limited partnership engaged in the business of real estate holdings.
Hardy B. Fowler

Hardy B. Fowler recently concluded a 34-year career at the international accounting firm of KPMG, including 25 years as a tax partner, and served as the New Orleans office's managing partner during his last seven years with that firm. Mr. Fowler serves on the boards of various civic organizations. Mr. Fowler was a director of Whitney Holding Corporation and Whitney National Bank from 2009 until 2011, when he joined the Board of Directors in connection with the merger.

Randall W. Hanna

Randall W. Hanna became the interim Dean of both the Panama City, Florida campus and the College of Applied Studies at Florida State University on August 1, 2016. Dr. Hanna’s professional experience has been committed to both higher education and the practice of law. He served as an attorney at Bryant Miller Olive, a multi-state law firm for almost 30 years. He was Chairman and Managing Shareholder of the firm from 1984 to 2011, when he left to serve as Chancellor of the Florida College System. He served as Chancellor from 2011 to January 2015 and was a member of the board of trustees of Florida A&M University, the University of West Florida and Tallahassee Community College. Prior to his appointment as a director of the Company, he served as a director of Hancock Bank of Florida from 2007 to 2010.
James H. Horne

Director since 2000. Mr. Horne has been specializing in real estate development and appraisal along the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 20 years. Mr. Horne is also co-owner and President of Handy Lock Self Storage Centers since 1993. Advisory Director of Hancock Bank since 1995.
Jerry L. Levens
Director*
Jerry L. Levens has been a partner since 1992 at the regional CPA firm of Alexander, Van Loon, Sloan, Levens & Favre, PLLC, based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and is the partner in charge of all of the firm’s audit and assurance engagements. Prior to joining the Hancock Holding Company Board of Directors, he served as a director of Hancock Bank (Mississippi) from 2008 to 2009.

Mr. Liollio is the President of PAA Natural Gas Storage, LLC, based in Houston, Texas (PAA). PAA Natural Gas Storage is the natural gas storage business of Plains All American Pipeline, a $23 billion Houston-based publicly traded master limited partnership that owns and operates midstream energy infrastructure and provides logistics services for crude oil, natural gas liquids, natural gas and refined products on a nationwide basis. His substantial knowledge and experience of natural gas storage operations includes the Gulf Coast markets of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
Sonya C. Little

Sonya C. Little is the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Tampa, Florida. She was appointed in May 2011 by Mayor Bob Buckhorn. Ms. Little leads a team of more than 90 professionals and is responsible for administering an annual operating budget of over $850 million. She also manages the city’s credit ratings, a $900+ million debt portfolio, and oversees the primary functions of accounting, grant management, investments and pension fund administration.

Prior to joining the mayor’s staff, Ms. Little worked for three years as managing director with Public Resources Advisory Group (PRAG) in St. Petersburg, Florida. She also worked with RBC Capital Markets and William R. Hough & Co. as a municipal investment banker for over 14 years. Previously, Ms. Little was a bond development specialist with the State of Florida’s Division of Bond Finance and worked for both Barnett Bank and Florida National Bank.
Eric J. Nickelsen

Eric J. Nickelsen joined the Whitney Board in 2000. A Pensacola, Fla., resident, Nickelsen has been active in the real estate development and management businesses for many years. Prior to beginning his real estate career, Nickelsen was a banker with varying responsibilities relating to operations and lending between 1966 and 1998. By the end of his banking career, Mr. Nickelsen led the Northwest Florida region for Barnett Bank, serving as its Chairman, President and CEO. Mr. Nickelsen was a director of Whitney Holding Corporation and Whitney National Bank from 2000 until 2011, when he joined our Board in connection with the merger.

A longtime leader of local business and civic organizations, Thomas Olinde serves as president of Olinde Hardware and Supply Co. since 1997 and is also a managing member and director of B. Olinde and Sons Co., LLC. He has served as a director of the Company since 2009 and a director of Whitney Bank (formerly Hancock Bank of LA) since 2006.

Ms. Pickering is the owner of Christy Pickering, CPA Public Accounting Firm since 1991. Prior to joining the Hancock Holding Company Board of Directors, she served as a Hancock Bank Board Director from 1995 to 2000. Ms. Pickering is also a director of Mississippi Power Company since February 2007. In 2008, Ms. Pickering was appointed as a Trustee by the Governor of Mississippi to the Institutions of Higher Learning Board for a ten year term.

Mr. Roseberry serves as a Director of Hancock Holding Company since 2001. He is the retired, former President of the Northern Division of Hancock Bank, Gulfport, Mississippi from 2001 to 2007. Previously, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lamar Capital Corporation from 1998 to 2001, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Lamar from 1986 to 1998. Mr. Roseberry served in various capacities with Lamar from 1971 to 1986 and was a director of Lamar Bank from 1972 to 2001. He is the owner and operator of Pine Lake Farms, LLC.

Ms. Teofilo is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Energy Authority (TEA), the nation’s largest nonprofit organization owned by public power utilities. TEA provides strategic energy solutions to publically-owned power entities nationwide. The company is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, with offices in Bellevue, Washington, serves over 50 public power utilities nationwide, and handles over 30,000 megawatts of power generation across natural gas, coal, wind, hydro, nuclear, biomass, fuel oil, petroleum coke and landfill gas. Ms. Teofilo was a member of the company’s founding launch team in 1997, and has served as Director of Risk Management and Financial Trading, Chief Risk Officer, and assumed her current role in 2010.
Carleton Richard Wilkins

Mr. Wilkins is an Attorney and Shareholder at the law firm of Maynard Cooper & Gale in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Wilkins practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial transactions, banking, insurance coverage, admiralty, real estate and creditors’ rights/bankruptcy. Mr. Wilkins has served on the Market Advisory Board of Hancock Bank since 2014. He also served as Director of Hancock Bank of Alabama from 2007 to 2014, serving on the Risk, Bank Audit, Wealth Management, and Asset/Liability Committees. Mr. Wilkins served as Chairman of the Board of the Hancock Bank of Alabama from 2007 to 2011.
