Section 5 – Corporate Governance and Management

Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On February 21, 2019, Home Savings Bank (“Home Savings”), a wholly owned subsidiary of United Community Financial Corp. (collectively with Home Savings, the “Company”), and Barbara J. Radis, Executive Vice President—Retail Banking, mutually agreed to terminate Mrs. Radis’ employment relationship with the Company. Mrs. Radis’ separation from the Company does not involve any disagreement with the Company’s management or Board of Directors.
