INCREASES CASH DIVIDEND

Dubuque, Iowa, January 23, 2019 - Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTLF), announced that its board of directors approved an increase in its quarterly cash dividend to $0.16 per share on the company's common stock payable on March 1, 2019, to stockholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2019. As of December 31, 2018, there were 34,477,499 common shares outstanding listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol HTLF.
